ADULT INITIATION
Adult Initiation is for all adults who are baptized in another faith and are interested in joining the Catholic Church (known as "candidates"), and adults who were baptized Catholic but never confirmed (known as "confirmandae"), adults who were never baptized (known as "catechumens"), and anyone else interested in finding out more about the Catholic Faith.

Inquiry Sessions for adults wanting to learn more about the Catholic Faith will be held after the first of the year.
Adult Initiation sessions will go from Sunday, August 24th through Sunday, December 14th, from 10:45 AM - 12:15 PM in O'Kefe Hall next door to the Newman Center. Free child care will be offered on site, but you must register in advance! Spring Initiation will be on Pentecost Sunday
(May 31st) at the 11:00am Mass.
Inquiry Sessions are for those baptized in another Christian faith, for the unbaptized, and for adult Catholics who were never confirmed. It is an informal opportunity to find out more about the Adult Initiation process at St. Mary’s. “Come and see!”
The teaching sessions are open to all adults. For more information, please call Dan Teets at 337-4314, Ext. 105. All who are interested in full initiation into the Catholic Church this spring must participate in one of the Inquiry Sessions!
Inquiry Sessions will be held :
Sunday, August 17th, from 11:00 AM to Noon
Sunday, August 19th, from 7:00 - 8:00 PM
Sunday, August 21st, from 7:00 - 8:00 PM

We are always looking for folks who are interested in being community sponsors for the Adult Initiation process. If you are a Confirmed, practicing Catholic and are interested in being a sponsor, please contact Dan Teets at 337-4314, Ext. 105 to find out more about this ministry of being a companion for the journey.
